TENETS OF FAITH
Introduction
The
"BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST THE LORD CONGREGATION" is a group or
body of people who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. Ours is a religious body
or group, a part of the total body of all believers, the church established by
our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18).
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (MKJV)
“...
so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.”
- Joh 17:21
This does not mean that we are
the only people in the world who believe in Him. All people in the world, and
who, according to the Gospel, believed in our Lord Jesus Christ, are called by
God into the fellowship of His Son and to attain the glory of our Lord Jesus
Christ. We acknowledge and accept that among us there are other people around
the world who believes in our Lord Jesus Christ as the Bible says:
CORE BELIEFS ("FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS")
This presentation has been
prepared for the congregation, for the purpose of clarifying the understanding
and the responsibilities of awareness and willingness to comply with our duties
as well as our responsibility to God, the Holy Father and Christ Jesus, the
Holy Son, he is our Lord, while we live by faith.
By the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we have the
confidence of their help and guidance as to the will of God, according to His
good purpose.
Believers in Christ are holding
to their fundamental belief, that the Scriptures as its chief source, hence the
following doctrine, among other teachings of the Holy Bible.
1. Bible - Rule of Faith
We believe that the holy bible is
god's inspired and contains revelations about god himself, his purpose and his
will to man in different means.
Though we can learned about God
in the world around us, from history of mankind and from the writings
authored by great men, nevertheless our ultimate and highest source of
which other sources need to be tested is the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the
rule of faith and of Christian conduct for the believer (2 Timothy 3: 15-17).
